About Rose
THE HAIR POSEY
Hair created with care, experience, and a genuine love for helping people feel like themselves
Rose is a multi-award-winning hairstylist with over 20 years of experience creating romantic, expressive and beautifully wearable hair. Her work is guided by creativity, care and a genuine desire for every client to feel comfortable, supported and confident in her chair.
Hairdressing was not Rose’s first career path. After a serious car accident, she found herself reflecting on what she wanted from life and the example she hoped to set for her children. As a single mother, she chose to begin a mature-age apprenticeship, committing to a craft where she could work with people and help them feel better about themselves.

Over the years, Rose has developed an approach to hair that focuses on both beauty and practicality. Her everyday hair services are available in-salon and through mobile appointments, creating flexibility for clients while maintaining a relaxed and personalised experience.
Rose takes the time to understand each client’s hair, lifestyle and preferences so the result feels natural, comfortable and easy to maintain. She believes hair should not only look beautiful when you leave the salon, but also be something you can confidently recreate at home.
Awards
Stepping outside her comfort zone, Rose began entering hairdressing competitions as a way to challenge herself creatively and continue developing her craft. These experiences have encouraged growth, inspired new ideas, and led to some wonderful opportunities. She feels incredibly grateful to have received several awards and recognitions along the way.
Creating a calm and nurturing experience is an important part of Rose’s work. She wants every client to feel cared for and comfortable during their appointment, never rushed or overlooked. A beautiful head massage is something she truly values — not just as an added luxury, but as a natural part of the service and a moment for clients to relax and unwind.
Alongside her client work, Rose volunteers with Hair Aid Australia, an organisation that provides hairdressing education and support to communities in need. As a location lead, she helps support local initiatives and is also involved in providing haircuts for members of the community — something she finds deeply meaningful.
This work reflects Rose’s long-held belief that something as simple as a haircut can help someone feel seen, cared for and more confident in themselves.

Education has always been important to Rose. She believes learning is good for the soul — keeping people curious, motivated and inspired in both their craft and everyday life. Through her workshops, Rose shares practical techniques in a calm and supportive environment, welcoming both hair professionals and members of the public who simply want to build confidence in styling hair.
Across everyday hair, bridal styling, editorial work and education, Rose approaches her craft with the same intention — to create hair that feels expressive, wearable and connected to the person wearing it.
